When using amounts, if no amount is entered, the default is 1000 unless otherwise noted below.(For instance, typing age 20 will add 20 years to your character's age.) To find the IDs of other characters, hover your mouse over someone's portrait while in debug mode. If no character ID is entered, the effect will always happen to your character. When using cheats on your character, you don't need to enter a character ID.This is true for doctrines, traits, regiments, secrets, and many other cheats below. A list of laws will be displayed, and you can then type the one you want. For instance, if you want to add a law to your realm, type add_realm_law, and then press Tab. Pressing Tab while typing in the console command field will reveal a lot of information. To use the commands listed below, just type them in and press Enter. You'll see a window where you can enter console commands. Press ` or ~ again to close it (Shift-Alt-C doesn't seem to close the console). To open the console while in the game, press the ` key, the ~ (tilde) key, or Shift-Alt-C. The darkest of rumors tell of a game where forum users lynch and eat each other, simply for the fun of it. Others say that if you look long enough, you'll find the Edge of the Forum, where any semblance of sanity ceases to exist. ![]() They say ghosts lurk the elder parts of the forum, wraiths who registered, made the slightest mark, and then disappeared. They are unedited, they appear like this in game! Why are we forced to play with that immersion breaking stuff just to be ABLE to acces the console if we feel the need? Even if we deactivate debug_mode in the console, we can not enter the console again without restarting the game! How silly is that? Is it the same with CK3? And if yes, why is that a reason to disable it for everyone? Why can we not get the old console back, like we have in any other PDX game except Imperator? Is it because of the issue Imperator had, that one could use cheat codes when selecting a country even before entering the game? I remember that this was the reason the Imperator console was changed this way. ![]() What I want is to be able to access the console if I spontaniously feel like fooling around, trying stuff out or something. There will be purple ID's everywhere, and on every character interaction menu you'll have purple cheat options. This means the game will run in constant cheat mode. To be able to even access the console, one has to enter "-debug_mode" as a parameter in the launch options. It's the same with Imperator, and I do not like this trend. ![]()
